The end of the year celebrations continue. Next up? Dance recital. Today was dress rehearsal and tomorrow is the big day. The recital is titled "Iridescence" and every class is doing something in regards to a color.

Cate's group is dancing to Sean Kingston's tune "Fire Burning on the Dance Floor." You can see their costumes are meant to look like fire. She is definitely my little "Angelina Ballerina." The girl can hardly stop dancing and doing cartwheels even outside of class. She has some very nice technique which got her moved up to a class full of 2nd and 3rd graders. Being in the "big kid" ballet class has certainly offered her a bigger level of difficulty, especially memorizing all the dance steps. The choreography is much longer and provided a good challenge.

While Cate and I stay in town to get her to her dance preparations, Christopher and Greg are out at Eklutna Lake for the end of the year Cub Scouts pack campout.
