Just a few photos from Cate's OTHER performance this week. (Yes, she's had a part in the Christmas pageant, 2 performances of her ballet recital, and her school performance of Aesop's Fables. And last week's piano recital. It's been a full few weeks!).

Cate performed in the Grasshopper and the Owl. It's the story of a very chirpy grasshopper who won't stop chirping when Owl is trying to sleep (hmm...most parents understand the humor in this story!). Grasshopper refuses to pipe down and Owl finally flatters the grasshopper to come up to his nest and then promptly eats him. Cate mastered a very annoying chirpy voice for the role that had the audience (at least her parents) in stitches.

Moral of the story? Don't be fooled by kinds words.
