This year Santa tried to bring some gifts that would provide experiences for the family to do together rather than only toys and more "stuff" to fill the house. One way he did this was to bring Aces hockey tickets in everybody's stockings. We went a few weeks ago and had a great time. How did it happen, though, that I've raised face painters? That is serious fandom. Cate doesn't really care about hockey or the Aces, but she DID have fun with the face painting. And their commitment to showing their love for the home team got them a nice hug from the Aces mascot, Boomer.
