The luau was a hit. This is Christopher's favorite thing of the whole trip. He loves a good luau. I think he just loves a good party -- whatever kind of party it might be.

Our luau was at the Polynesian Cultural Center and they do it up good. The luau was first, with regular Hawaiian traditions showcased, including really good traditional food. Next, there was a Polynesian show that included traditions from Samoa, New Zealand, Fiji, and other locales. Christopher really loved that show (and so did we) -- for the variety and skill of the performers. Christopher's favorite was the Samoan fire dancers, who did everything from fire juggling, to fire dancing, to sitting and walking on fire. He liked the sitting on fire best -- the whole "butt on fire" thing is really funny to a 5-year old.
