Christopher is losing teeth like nobody's business. One more came out over the weekend. He was bummed because he really wants one of those tooth necklaces you get from the school nurse if you lose a tooth at school -- he has yet to have one pop at school, despite the fact the mere ability for the boy to chew at all with all those lost teeth is an amazing fact.
Well, he decided to "save" the tooth to take to school for one of those necklaces, rather than just leaving it for the tooth fairy. Well, over the weekend, mom apparently "cleaned up" the tooth and somehow managed to lose it (it's probably in the trash can, along with the myriad other things mom was cleaning.). Hey, can I be to blamed if it got left in a ziploc baggy on the countertop in the kitchen (which is the midst of remodeling, and not the most organized right now anyways?). Okay, maybe it's not my best mothering move.
Here's the note he left under his pillow last night:
"Dear Tooth Fary: My mom lost it , my tooth. Can I still hav my money? PS Can I hav a foto ov you? Thank you, From: first name Christopher, last name Loudon"

Doesn't mom always get the blame?
