Go, Jessie, Go!
For anybody reading this who knows my dear friend, Jessica Sinclitico, you need to watch the link posted below for the October 28 episode of "The Price is Right." Those who don't know Jessie -- she's one my gaggle of girlfriends from University of Redlands. Jessie has been one of my dearest friends since freshmen year of college. We've studied together, lived next door in the dorms, gotten terribly lost in Paris together, gone to frat parties together -- you name it. Jessie and her husband even kindly offered their guest bedroom to me after I'm discharged from the hospital when I come to LA for my reconstruction surgery in December. She lives close to UCLA Medical Center, which is where my doctor wanted me to be. So post-discharge, I'll be staying in what Jessie has dubbed "The Sinclitico Rehabilitation Center." And if anybody I know would figure out a way to get on The Price of Right and enjoy every cheesy minute of it, it would be Jess. Go, Jessie, Go!!!

P.S. Don't worry -- you only need to watch the first 5 minutes of the link.

Fun to hear about Jessie (though, alas, the video you link to doesn't seem to be working at the moment). I do have to point out, though... your saying "you only need to watch the first five minutes" is a bit of a spoiler. ;-)

Well, if you didn't catch it -- she's the first to be called to "Come on Down!. And then she's the first to get to go up on the stage after guessing the closest value of a gold watch. And then her game is to win $10,000 -- but of course, first she must guess the prices of a variety of products in order to increase her likelihood of winning the cash. And she wins it! $10,000 plus the $2,000 gold watch. And of course, her natural exuberance and joy and jumping through the entire experience -- which is key for being selected for the show in the first place.

Just watched it! Go Jessie! Showed Heidi too. Didn't see the part with the watch... was that at the end of the show? I'm not exactly sure how TPIR works, but don't they come back at the end and compete again against a big wheel or something?

You are remembering your Price is Right etiquette correctly, Doug. Yes, they do come back to the spin the big wheel, but Jessie didn't win that portion. She was beat about by a VERY enthusiastic young man wearing a Happy Birthday shirt to some girl. So, the most exciting Jessie part was winning the $10,000
