- Finish a Rasmuson grant for the preschool to get the remodel I've been working to get through several committees, raise financing for, etc for the past 3 years;
- Go sign the long term lease for the preschool. Another long project I've been working to push through over the past year that is finally getting done;
- Drive for a field trip for Christopher's class to Russian Jack greenhouse;
- Do the charity walk for raising money for the preschool;
- Attend a wedding shower for Cate's preschool teacher;
- Attend 2 days of meetings for my work project (likely finishing up a 2-year work project);
- Start Christopher's soccer 2x a week;
- Continue with swimming 2x a week;
- Book Club on "American Pastoral" by Roth (did I like it? Not sure! Thoughts, comments, to those who have read it?)
- Help decorate Christopher's room into a rainforest for the end of year rainforest theme at Christopher's school;
- Help Christopher with finishing up his country report. Get all the materials for him to put together his poster display;
- Help with the Spaghetti Feed/Silent Auction for the preschool. Run all over town to pick up silent auction donations;
- Help coordinate the teacher appreciation luncheon at Christopher's school. Make sure we have enough food and enough helpers to set up and clean up;
- Go to my annual exam;
- Cate preschool graduation (3 weeks);
- Co-host a party for Chugach Optional families living in South Anchorage. The idea is to get to know the school friends who also live in the neighborhood so we can start planning more playdates with folks this summer who live nearby. Response so far is overwhelmingly positive and the house may be overflowing.
Whew! Is it summer yet? Ok...off to blow dry my hair so I can get to the lease signing. That will be one thing to check off the above to do list.
