Pop Quiz!
We had an exciting day yesterday running around non-stop. Catching up with the "to do" list after a weekend away shouldn't be this hard should it? We ended the day with three fun things to see as a mom. Guess which two of the following made me happiest/proudest as a mother?

1. Christopher rang the bell at swimming lessons, successfully moving up to level 9. Level 10 is swim team. These higher levels of swimming lessons can take some time to move through as they build up both skills and endurance so it is a major accomplishment to get the "pass." Neither Christopher nor I was aware he was even close so it was a nice surprise for us both.
2. We celebrate ringing the bell (long story of how this tradition got started) by eating dinner out, so we went to Chili's for dinner. Why Chili's when Christopher (and his mom) would have preferred City Diner? Because Christopher wanted to go to the place that would make his sister the happiest, even though it was his special meal. Awww.....
3. Watching Cate clap for her brother in the middle of dinner explaining "I didn't get to clap for you enough when you were ringing the bell because I was still swimming, but congratulations brother!" Awww.....
