One of the best part of the weekends these days days are the mornings. Most mornings, we are up fairly early to get Christopher ready for school. It's a constant rush of making sure Christopher has gotten dressed, eaten breakfast, brushed his hair and teeth, and gotten his gear together. He hasn't quite gotten to the point where we can trust him to get through the checklist by himself without some parental supervision, so it's my job to direct Christopher to be ready for school on time. The whirl of activity has started and stopped by around 7:50 when Greg and Christopher head out to head towards the school. The weekends allow us our opportunity for lazy mornings with family snuggles in bed. And since we have church in the evenings, we get 2 mornings of laziness.

Here are Christopher and Greg on Sunday morning. Greg was trying to get up to start being productive, but Christopher kept demanding that he get back in bed. He wanted daddy to pretend to be sick, so that Christopher could bring him breakfast in bed, and serve him, and snuggle him. I love the look on Christopher's face -- just laying there in daddy's arms and the look on his face is pure bliss.
