There's a reason "Sunset Beach" got its name -- the sunsets from our beach were absolutely astounding. Perfect views of the sun going down -- we were amazed to see how quickly it descended into the "ocean" after it started to decline. Definately something we planned activities around to make sure we could enjoy.
Here's Christopher with the sunset behind him and the incredibly strong yet beautiful waves. This was on a particularly memorable sunset walk on the beach. One night, a few nights after the wedding, we invited the extended family (Aunt Melinda, Uncle Dave, Joel, Jason, and new bride Kim) back to our house for a BBQ. After the barbeque, we enjoyed the walk with the entire family.

So fun! I hope you had a pool to swim in since you weren't able to go into the ocean much. When you, Greg and the kids make it down here someday we need to go to Mancora on the northern beach of Peru. I hear it's beautiful and there are houses with a pool and nice beach/water out front. Maybe we could get my parents to come too!
