Today was the school Battle of the Books. Christopher was thrilled when his team came out as the top team of 3rd/4th graders for the school. They qualified to go to the District Battle in 2 weeks.

It's been such a good experience for him. Books he was sure he wouldn't like, he had to read anyways. And many of them, he found he liked after all. It's a cooperative, team event so there is some teamwork that is learned as well. All in all, it's been fun to see him so jazzed about it. He woke up this morning grinning about the "big day." And you can see from the photos how excited he was. I love the photo of his team conferring together on an answer with all of their heads put together. A cool day for my boy.
