Summer finally arrived in Alaska, at least for a few days. We had a sunny, warm weekend -- one of the first ones of the year. Today the clouds are back, but for a few wonderful days the kids got to act like it was summer.

Our grass thinks it is summer -- it was in desperate need of a good mow. So, I mowed the lawn and then watered it and the kids took advantage by running through the sprinklers.

Christopher also enjoyed riding his bicycle -- he's thrilled to have the training wheels off and wants to race as fast as possible whenever he can.
