This is what an Alaskan 7 year old looks like. This photo was taken on Friday, his actual birthday. I spent half the day at Christopher's school volunteering, helping out with a water science experimentation extravaganza, and tying skates so that kids could ice skate at recess. Making sure he could skate at recess was probably the best gift I could give him -- that boy truly loves his ice skates.

Don't you love the Aces jersey that he put on over his coat so that he could show it off on the ice at school? Makes him look like he could really be one of those burly Aces.
