It was especially nice to have time for my kids to bond with my sister Laura and her kids. Colleen and Jessica were amazing babysitters. It was sometimes easy to forget how young they are (age 12) because they look like they could be in high school. I bought them each a pair of earrings as a thanks for how much help they were with the kids. And Cate, especially, now thinks the world of those two girls.

And Doug gave Christopher half his Pokemon cards (after all, Pokemon isn't quite the hot fad for high-schoolers like Doug) so he is now undoubtedly Christopher's favorite cousin of all time.
