Spring Break
Well, it can be tough to think of it as Spring Break. We've had a good amount of snow in since Thursday, yet we now have a gorgeous, sunny afternoon beaming down on all that snow. Nonetheless, Spring Break it is. And so far, we're enjoying it.
Spring Break means we have time to slow down a bit, drive less, sleep in, and generally move at a less hectic speed. Today, we even were able to make our errands more fun by arranging for a meeting with Lisa, Kaes, and Abigail at the allergist's office for shots. The kids enjoyed looking out the giant windows afterwards at the various tractors digging up the parking lot to build more medical office buildings. You know things are good when you can turn even the things on the "to do" list into fun!
Spring Break also means a chance for the kids to catch up with buddies and have sleep overs. Christopher will sleep over with the neighbor boy tonight and was invited over to another friend's house for the afternoon. Tomorrow, it's Soup Kitchen. All in all, it's nice for all of us to get a break from the routine.

I'm gonna snag that photo for my blog. It was great seeing y'all today. A baking day on Wed sounds like a really fun idea!
