Sometimes it is worthwhile to celebrate the little victories in life, so that's what I'm doing today. Cate and I went in to Chugach Optional this a.m. I'm a Tuesday reading coach for 1st and 2nd graders. As we finished and were gearing up to leave, Christopher came and found both his sister and his mom. We both got hugs and "I love you's" in plain sight and earshot of his buddies. Even his sister! I know those days are not likely to last forever so today I'm celebrating my boy's fearless show of true emotions.
